Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore was an Hollywood writer and actor for many years. Also, she is lauded by reviewers. Sagittarius is her birth name, and she was born in North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest out of the three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith who was a psychologist. She's English and Scottish. Moore has moved frequently with her family due to the duties that her dad was employed in. This was a challenge to maintain or make new acquaintances. Moore was a stage actor at Frankfurt American High School when the family moved to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. in Theater. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985, with a scene from The Edge of Night. She played the dual role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Turns that was her first major role. In 1988, she was an actress on the series and was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in 1990 with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later described by her as a horrible low-budget movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. For the former, she won several awards and the acclamation of critics. Moore's debut lead role was as a lead actress in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top grossing films of 1997, marked a major turning point for Moore's career. In 1999, she was a part of the critically acclaimed Magnolia and received an SAG award for her role. The Hours starred Moore in 2002 and was nominated by nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) as well as a variety of other films. In 2014 she appeared in Non-Stop. Moore is an established star in numerous television and film series. Moore has appeared in a number of movies and TV series. The most recent role she played was when You Finish Save the World 2022. She's established herself in Hollywood in addition to being a bestselling author of children's books. She released her first book Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. The best-selling book was made into a movie, series and even a musical. The year 2013 saw her release Her Mom is a Foreigner. Moore is a successful actress and writer. Her personal life, thus, is in the domain of public record. She divorced John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids. Moore's main focus is her friends, family as well as her career.
